In fact, I encourage everyone to watch local and national news on their ABC, CBS, or NBC affiliate for an hour in the morning, late afternoon, or at night. It might just surprise you. In aggregate, the poster is correct. 10 times as many people watch that than watch the scarce straight news programming cable news networks.

There wasn’t even streaming and social media was nascent back then. Not even smart phones.

My 21 year old son would have no idea of ABC, CBS, or NBC. He knows MSNBC because I watch it. (He says I shouldn’t watch it because it’s biased.) my hubby watches local news, but he’s 60.

I work with outlying Millenials and that is certainly not the case. They are well informed and involved at least in my neck of the woods.

only know what's on Netflix. And I'm not afraid to admit I wasn't very knowlegable in my younger years. The best part of retirement is having time to get involved in all this stuff.

My grandson is 33 and he voted for Trump because he owns 25 guns. That's it. Case closed. He knows nothing else about Trump. He can rebuild a motorcycle blindfolded, though.

I'm glad to hear the ones you know are more astute.

The almost-final straw was both MSNBC and CNN casting doubt on the COVID booster. No wonder people don’t know what the hell to believe.

Not been watching a whole lot in the first place because of all the Biden bashing over the past day, but they’re getting pretty insufferable.

Is it ratings season? That’s the only reason I can think of for this bullshit.
