1. US people were pretty supportive of their governments quest in their search for Osama

.

But got increasingly concerned and unsupportive of their Government's continued occupation and attacks on Afghanistan after he was caught.

US people became more and more aware of the cost of the disastrous continued occupation, realizing Trillions of dollars could have been better spent on their own problems within, like lack of affordable healthcare, decent housing, jobs etc.

The people are getting sick and tired of losing their loved ones in a useless war, and watching mentally and physically damaged people coming home to an uncaring Government.
