Another reason I prefer NPR to cable nooz...
Today on Fresh Air, Billie Jean King was interviewed. She's an incredibly together person, and was friends with Riggs until he died. She fought like a demon for equity, but accepted the Battle of the Sexes for the show it was.
And she made it through the Marilyn debacle without major damage. That alone would try the best of us.
