Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Bob Menendez (D-NJ) said he would hold hearings into the “flawed” U.S. troop withdrawal of Afghanistan, Axios reports.

“Menendez, who blamed both the Biden and Trump administrations for the crisis unfolding in the Taliban-controlled country, is one of three top Democrats who head Senate committees who’ve vowed to investigate the Afghanistan crisis.”

Senate Armed Services Committee Chair Sen. Jack Reed (D-RI) and Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA.) also pledged hearings and investigations.

And I'm trying to think outside the bootoob here, what if these investigations actually reveal the truth about the corrupt intent of pompousman and tfg to screw Biden and that it was a set up to trash him but that he was actually on to them but unable to do anything other than he did?

I suspect the eagerness shown for investigations on the Dem side is actually going to shake out in Biden's favor and they know it but need to present it with the evidence from an investigation that cannot be questioned when done by the book. At least that's what I see could be developing at the moment. Of course, this is only speculation but I hope it is something along those lines. With so much at stake, I can't see our side willingly stabbing Biden in the back all of a sudden unless they were profiting off of this war somehow, I expect it from the criminal party.
