Isn't DeSantis Ruining The State Of Florida For All The Theme Parks & Tourist Destinations?....

Why isn't Disney, Universal, Sea World and other tourist sites up in arms with how DeSantis is dealing with this surging and continuing pandemic?

I would think that these businesses wield a lot of clout in Florida and that they can pressure DeSantis to do the right thing.

I believe DeSantis is killing the tourist trade in Florida. I've heard from a number of people saying that there is no way in hell that they are going to vacation in that State until this pandemic is under control. They don't trust the airports, restaurants, hotels.

These businesses got to be losing a ton of money due to how DeSantis is handling this situation. Why aren't they more vocal?

You have to wear masks at the theme parks, it is the school children the Fl. Government hates. Chainfire Aug 2021 #10

Its constantly crowded. Parking is now 30 bucks a day. Hasn’t stopped people from going.

Until the numbers of attendees stop it will be fine. People get temperature check. Wear mask. Vaccinated. You’ll be fine.

I wondered why the Gehenna outfits like Disney, Universal, etc. seem to quietly comply with Ron DeSantis’ insane clown posse pandemic policies.

I would like to visit Florida again myself. But I’m not about to do it while that maniac is still Governor and his party controls the Florida legislature.

Our schools are a breeding ground for Covid. My local school board just caved to the most ridiculous bs about mask requests/requirements. Parents cheering for no masks for their darlings while children are dying. Am I nutz?! I just don’t understand the thinking process.

.

For 10 years, we used to vacation in Florida 2-3 times a year because we have family down there. Sometimes I would notice a more hostile treatment than others. After about 5 years, I noticed it had to do with the car I was driving. The rentals would either have Non-Florida or Florida plates. Same driver, same rental agency, same class of cars.

There is a definitely different way that out-of-staters are treated. The only thing I can assume is that there are over a million drivers with CCWs in Florida. Folks don't want to start shit with in-staters, so they do it with folks who are probably not carrying. I just gave up going to the state and taking my $7K-10K or more elsewhere.

That Yellowstone NP had one million visitors in June or July, all in one month. The park issued a statement about requiring masks in all NPS buildings and crowded outdoor situations. It's not a good summer for the wildlife and wild lands.
