Is Anybody Really SURPRISED That Fox News Is Pushing Horse Worm Pills Over COVID Vaccines?

We all know that Fux Noise was created three decades ago to peddle bullshit propaganda to 'conservatives' in order to help the GOP win elections. And they've made a ton of money in the process. Fair enough. But even I was taken aback when they started pushing bullshit propaganda that's literally KILLING their viewing/voting base. Advocating that they shun the COVID vaccine, and instead take SNAKE OIL, like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.

I can see why Fux Noise pushed hydroxychloroquine. Because some crackpot (probably the My Pillow guy) waved an isolated research paper under Trump's nose. That set him off, and Fox News has to follow him wherever he goes. That kept going until people started poisoning themselves with the hydroxychloroquine pills from their FISH TANKS. And then, when Trump actually caught COVID he didn't use it on himself.. So, that made it pretty hard to keep pushing the bullshit about hydroxychloroquine.

But I had no idea the ivermectin bullshit was still going on, until Rachel Maddow showed us the clips tonight. Sure enough, they're still trashing vaccines, and boosting snake oil.

Here's a (f)ucker Carleson clip from as recently as a month ago. Here are a couple of quotes from it. With shit like this, is it any WONDER this is still happening?

Quote:

"An evolutionary biologist claimed Friday that, should the anti-malarial drug Ivermectin be proven effective against the coronavirus, it would moot the usage of and potentially the ability to administer the U.S. coronavirus vaccines..."

""So if Ivermectin is safe and effective … then there shouldn't be vaccines that we're administering. They should be in testing and we should be finding out whether they are or are not safe," said Weinstein, alluding to several serious cases of vaccine side effects.""

"He added that in the wake of strong adverse reactions, such as a Northern Virginia woman who suffered a massive brain-bleed, it is questionable why the establishment continues to expose Americans to vaccine risks,"

to air bullshit like that. Why the FCC continues to grant them a license perplexes me. Airing and recommending untested and potentially lethal quack "cures" for COVID is the height of irresponsibility.

Deregulation in this country has gone too damned far. It's way past time to make people responsible for the crap they subject the general public to.

6. FCC rules concerning broadcasting false information:

The FCC prohibits broadcasting false information about a crime or a catastrophe if the broadcaster knows the information is false and will cause substantial "public harm" if aired.

FCC rules specifically say that the "public harm must begin immediately, and cause direct and actual damage to property or to the health or safety of the general public, or diversion of law enforcement or other public health and safety authorities from their duties."

Hmmm... so what's holding up the FCC?
