The latest whine from an unvaxxed nurse, "a year ago we were heroes. Now you are

trying to kill us, forcing us to take poison." This whine came from an icu nurse in Mesa County, CO, which just happens to be a Delta hotspot. The two hospital systems there have instituted a vaccine mandate. She is an anti-vax, anti-mask, trumphumping, qanon conspiracy nut. She is the sister-in-law of a dear friend there, who told me about her fit of rage when the mandate was announced.

Glad I don't have to deal with her.

It baffles me why seemingly intelligent people are voluntarily vacating their jobs and willfully choosing a lifetime of hardship.

It is tragic we are losing HCWs at the time we need them most, but she demonstrates her lack of competency and total lack of understanding of science, medicine (at even the most basic of levels) and patient care.
