Really?! You won't wear a mask, but you will wear a gun on your hip?! (mini-rant)
So, my new mattress finally arrived today, after purchasing it a MONTH and HALF ago! I am really excited because I have been having back problems and I really needed a new mattress, as it has been over 10 years (I got my monies worth!). The dude shows up and stares at me though the door. I ask, "So, what's the plan here?" He said he needed to see where he was taking the mattress, so I show him to the room. Of course, he has no mask (I was wearing one, in my own home), and as he walks past me, I notice he has a gun on his hip! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! Who needs a goddamned gun to make furniture deliveries in this town?! We have lower crime stats than the national average by quite a bit. There were 2 murders here last year and 300+ incidents of violent crime in a town of 40K!
Anyway, I just needed to rant because here we are in a pandemic, and my county is in the SEVERE range, and neither of the delivery men have masks, and one has a gun strapped to his hip! BTW, about 60 people have died of COVID here in the past year, 100's have been hospitalized, and like so many places in the US, our hospital, one of the only ones for several miles, is at capacity and are now using office space for temporary ICU beds.

We have a large bags of them ready by the doors. We have an AirBNB/MisterBnB and on both we have clear rules on following county rules, our own rules and no guns. I’m not sure we’ve ever had a gun though (we don’t check but I haven’t seen any).
