The U.S. now faces a dispiriting dilemma. Last year, many people were content to buy time for vaccines to be developed and deployed. But vaccines are now here, uptake has plateaued, and the first surge of the vaccine era is ongoing. What, now, is the point of masking, distancing, and other precautions?

If he would have started calling it the "Patriot Vaccine" from Day #1... Moderna, Proud AMERICAN Company and made in New England... and pushed the hell out of it... called on the former POTUS's to film PSA's WITH him and made an event out of getting vaxx'd...

Politicizing the Virus was the #1 problem.

Remember... pre-COVID the only people who were anti-vaxxers were wack jobs like Jenny McCarthy it was NOT a Team Red, Team Blue thing...

2. Back to 'flattening the curve'...

Which insures that each of those who contract the virus get the maximum amount of resources when they do.

I'm not sure I agree with the author's dire outcomes for the vaccinated. I do agree that vaccination is an important tool in controlling the severity and rate of spread of the virus.
