A window of opportunity for American troops?

The Taliban and their closest allies are in Kabul attempting to organize a government. It will be no easy task. It may be impossible?

So, at this time, the leaders are distracted over who is going to hold power and who the Taliban will follow. They do not appear to be very organized.

Whatever the US troops can do at this time may be the best time they will see for a while? Once the Taliban and the terrorists get their bearings, they may decide to attack the Americans in some manner or other? They may try to shoot down an aircraft? A helicopter would probably be their preference?

Although things may look pretty bad at present, they can always get worse. We know that from experience.
