Wisconsin: State clerks rush to correct redistricting errors

WTF? Is this part of the Republican plan to make sure only white male property owners can vote?

State clerks rush to correct redistricting errors

Clerks throughout Wisconsin, many of them facing primaries next month, are racing to fix errors in the state's voting boundaries.
The problems, which caused addresses to be listed in the wrong municipalities, school districts or wards, could lead to confusion for tens of thousands of people trying to figure out which races they should be casting their ballots in — and where their polling places are located.

The errors are apparently "anomalies" caused by differences between census data, which show geolocations of homes but are only accurate to about 50 meters, and the actual municipal boundaries, according to the state Government Accountability Board.

"There is a lot of cleanup that needs to be done," Madison City Clerk Maribeth Witzel-Behl said Wednesday.
She said information for more than 1,000 Madison voters still needs to be corrected but said trained information technology experts in the city planning department already did much of the work for her office.
