the Yankees shortstop during the 1930s, and continued to play into the late 40s. He was then the Yankees third base coach for years, known for not shaking players hands after a home, except in rare cases, like Roger Maris 61st.

In this reel it seemed a combo of over the top/side armed. Looks lethal as heck to me

And if that didn't work, he threw it faster.
