None will be charged with treason because what they did doesn't fit within the legal definition of treason.

The pleas deals so far and the list of charges are extremely light on felony charges and rife with misdemenaors.

We want real accountability with LONG prison terms and LARGE fines and restitution.

is that the judges hearing the cases of the people who have been arrested are handing down such lenient punishments. Patience certainly does wear thin!

The easiest cases were disposed of first, so it stands to reason that those defendants, who were mostly charged with crimes like trespassing, did not receive long sentences. The more complicated cases involving more serious offenses will take longer. Otherwise we can't draw many conclusions from only five cases.

Here is a complete list of all the cases so far: https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/capitol-breach-cases

These cases have to be dealt with inside the realm of already written law. We can't just make it up as as we go, no matter how sure we are of what these people did and why they did it. I have to trust the FBI on this one when they say that they couldn't dig up enough proof to make those charges viable. I would hope that we still have faith in the FBI right now.
While I agree that punishments so far have been largely inadequate and below maximums they deserve, you can't just convict someone of either of those things when evidence doesn't meet the requirements.
The starting point is to fix these laws so next time they show up to disrupt the capitol in any way, they can be locked up permanently.
