2. I got the Rabies shots about 20 years ago, and I was glad to get them

A feral Chesapeake Bay retriever tore into my leg. I doubt he was ever vaccinated so I got the shots just in case, there’s a lot of rabies in wildlife around here. Had to go in 20 times, shots were in the arm, though, not the stomach. Grateful they gave them to me, at the hospital not at a farm supply store, took a load off my mind.

3. My friend at the shelter

had to start rabies shots last week. She got bit by a cat at her husband's work and her hand was all swelled up. More worried about cat scratch fever (please, no Ted Nugent jokes, ugh) than rabies, but unsure of the cat's vaccination status.
