It's not "Parental rights are more important than my child's health."

It's "I have the right as a parent to choose how to care for my child."

Is he deliberately misinterpreting the message?

The sign maker truly believes that their power is more important than
their child's life.

Sorry, but that's where the state steps in, morally and practically. Misrepresentation or not is of no consequence.

A child must have current immunization records before being admitted to public schools. This is an emergency addition to the list. Let them deal with Child Protective Services if they disagree. This is a case of mind poisoning that requires deprogramming - similar to Jonestown.

But as actions speak louder than words, the misinterpretation is correct in many ways. Let us be clear that they are choosing their right to oppose masks for their kids when they know their kids can become infected and that some of them could die.

For a good parent having their kids wear masks is a no brainer, that this people are so ignorant and fanatic as to fight something that will protect their kids comes down to a just misinterpretation.

as well. Looks like it was hastily added as an afterthought.

Maybe if they took the time to think some of their decisions through, they'd come up with the correct answer.
