The only thing that holds Republicans together is their opposition to voting rights. Cheney and Kinzinger can support a 1/6 investigation, but not voting rights. That is a bridge too far for anyone in the GOP.
Every single Republican in the House just voted against the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. It passed with all Democratic votes.
The bill would prevent voters from being discriminated against by state and local governments.
People need to stop acting like @RepLizCheney and @AdamKinzinger are heroes. They also oppose the Equality Act. Just because theyre not as awful as, say, @LeaderMcCarthy doesnt mean theyre not awful.
They prefer to overthrow democracy in a more genteel manner
Without a Voting Rights Act democracy ends. And they both know that.
I suddenly don't trust either of them on the Jan 6th commission any more.

What's good for America isn't necessarily good for Republicans, so guess what's first in their eyes.

The districts on Northern Illinois change quite a bit every 10 years.

As for Adam Kinzinger? Democrats need to gerrymander him out of Congress.
