Hard to stop suicide bombers. Tragic event that the far right will be sure to politicize. At least president Biden is getting our allies out not like MF45 who let our ally the Kurds be slaughtered by Turkey.

Biden is taking an astronomical amount of blame for screwing this withdrawal up. Very well may cost us elections.

I for one think this withdrawal was done as effectively as possible. 100,000 people evacuated in a short period of time is epic.

Republicans of course are blaming Biden, and this will be their new Benghazi.

No one will pay attention to how epic evacuating over 100,000 people that fast is. They will only care about the stranded Americans/Afghans who couldn't or wouldn't leave, and the 4 dead Marines.

Turn on Sirius radio.

Remember when 4 of our soldiers were killed in Niger in 2017 and MF45 said nothing for 12 days, and then called one of the widows a liar?

The truth will eventually win out and history will look favorably on president Biden's decision. Fuck the right wing cable news.

Not that Biden couldn’t lose but it won’t be over this issue. Americans have short attention spans and in a few months the country will have moved on. Republicans will try and keep it alive but I doubt it would work.

At least 12 American deaths and a chaotic withdrawal will definitely hurt Biden and Dems in elections. Only 25% of Americans support how this withdrawal is going.

Republicans now have an even bigger "Benghazi" to launch investigations over and use in ads against Dems.

It was unlikely that we were going to win 2022 anyway because of gerrymandering and voter restriction laws. I'd say this probably seals the deal unless more Republicans die from Covid than people turn on Dems.
