Trump couldn’t be seen with Joe. Unprecedented.

... which is why a "peaceful transition" was an impossibility for Chump and his entire administration. If he were to cooperate with the transition, he'd be admitting he lost the election. We all know that will never happen. Such a sad, pathetic, evil man.

Luckily for us, Joe Biden was ready to take over on Day One without any help from Chump.

Apparently it was well known that not only did Trump start with 2nd and 3rd team staff but they were drastically understaffed at the end. Basic common things like answering emails and opening letters hadn’t been done. Team Biden planned for hitting the ground running, long hours, and trying to make up time.

We can say that Trump (and presidents before him) bear responsibility for a failed Afghanistan strategy - particularly the 2020 meeting and agreement.

But the President took responsibility yesterday because it was the right thing to do. Obviously the terrorists are responsible, but "the buck stops here". TFG has been gone for seven months. Nothing he did locked us in to which air field to use or whether to draw down the military forces before evacuating civilians. We can't say "we weren't briefed by the last guy" seven months later. Two weeks maybe... but not seven months.

While we're at it... we can't really simultaneously say that getting out is the right thing to do and that the last guy committed us to getting out and we really couldn't change that.

W and Cheney. They got us there for no accurate reason.

Let the Hollywood celebraties like Ellen DeGeneres be BFFs with these war criminals. But W and Cheney are responsible for deaths there.

We should have never attempted the nation building experiment there, the prevailing culture is just not compatible with what we attempted to create. Every president since has just been coping with the mess he created. Joe did the right thing in ending the experiment, the generals and intelligence community simply botched the execution.
