So I turn on my phone, and some app I didn't even know I had starts feeding me...

rightwing horseshit. 20 or so pages of stuff like how Reagan and Trump were our 2 greatest presidents. Biden is a crooked idiot.

You know, the same stuff we've been saying about trump for years now. Add in some Covid conspiracy and Fox scenes, and it's a mirror image of the stuff we send out.

I'm still trying to find out where the app is hiding-- I think it's a spinoff from one of the news apps, but I don't think it's malware. So far.

Relaod the ones you really need, dump the rest and then run Iobit uninstaller on the rest. Restart your phone, and you should be good to go. Anyway, that's how I got rid of a VERY similar situation. Hope it helps!

where it came from. Uninstalled it with no hitch.

Most of its matetial is from Tik Tok, so I won't be missing much.
