who fought in both Afghanistan and Iraq is against extending the deadline
He points out the same people calling for an extension are the same people who kept us there twenty years
They are people who staked their reputations on Afghanistan, got huge political donations, and were making a lot of money on Afghanistan
He said when I hear people say just one more month, one more year, he thinks one more marine, and I am sorry, you had your 20 years, 2500 American service members, and your 2.3 trillion dollars to build something up, and instead what you built up collapsed in just two weeks
and he went on to say anyone who served in Afghanistan like myself, could tell you they saw the Taliban taking over was inevitable

Hes one helluva campaigner AND debater. Hes pulled significant crowds in all 100 counties (including every rural county) hes now visited.
Republicans thinking they can pound on Afghanistan this election are in for a rude awakening.

(21,692 posts)Parson will gladly push tens of thousands of Missourians to their deaths - so to him, cheating to get Schmitt elected would be small potatoes.

(1,666 posts)Maybe he has specifically avoided talking about it other than calling for his opponent to apologize for waving his gun around.
Just wondering, as Missouri has a lot of pro gun people that wont vote for someone that wants to ban the sale of semi-auto weapons. It is one of the reasons there are so many GOP, in this state, elected to state government.
Too bad too, as he wants to legalize marijuana. Missouri doesnt feel like making it recreational right now.

(13,073 posts)carry alot of weight. We need more Dems like him who aren't afraid to speak the truth & expose the media & the GOP farce for what it is. I hope he will win the Missouri senate race. It pained me that Clare Mccaskell was not reelected. I'm going to donate to Kunce's campaign.
