They see it as "future baby".
I had an ultrasound at like 4 weeks and they were able to count pulses. This was way back in 1989. I was amazed how closely the rate closely resembled a newborn. I'm thinking it was about 160 or so. I was undergoing fertility treatment, so that was why they did ultrasound. The embryo was the size of a pinhead!
Anyway, most women don't see their embryo as a "baby"...They seem themselves as pregnant and they see their bodies going through changes.
We can do better than this.
