BTW, Just heard yesterday that it'd take another proposition to change the Recall procedure as it's in the Constitution.

The State House cant do it alone.

There is a limited amount of time to collect signatures to get the question on the ballot. Due to the pandemic, a judge extended the time frame for submitting the required number of signatures.

With the Republican party numbers dwindling in the state, it will be more difficult in the future.

There should definitely be an effort made to get rid of that provision, though. The way you recall a Governor is every four years in the regular election.

If it had been successful, dems could not have tried to recall elder for six months.

Does that still apply?

so I am thinking they won't be able to get the signatures again. I do see that the threshold is such that, in theory, one could get that many signatures in say LA county but you also have to get at least 1% of voters in five counties.
