(22,912 posts)Manchin seems to think the current Medicare needs shoring up before new obligations are added to it. You don't go from 3.5 Trillion to 1.5 or 2 Trillion without somethings getting axed, even if the the time frame is shortened. Of course, if Dems hold the House in 2022 and add a couple of seats in the Senate, we can try again in two years.

Worst part is billionaires world wide buy into America's corrupt system of campaign finance at the expense of working American families who are getting used to being urinated on. Shameful...stupid people will keep us down forever.
