(58,653 posts)which has a decided corporate lean, which may or may not align with your local chapter.
This sounds like a good thing to me, getting one less corporate voice yelling at them from within the chamber.

(18,486 posts)Biden's legislative team and Democratic House and Senate leadership are probably doing a hard court press behind the scenes to get them to do that ...

(11,343 posts)It will be interesting to see how hard the Chamber goes publicly. They are a big group with a lot of clout.
The new narrative now is repubs don't support business. (Well, not new to us...)

(8,050 posts)Always has been. I used to work for a local chamber, and the national chamber is the papa bear of corporate toadies. They have done the corporate work for the Koch brothers and Heritage Foundation. They're extremists.
I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.

(8,050 posts)National chamber gets all of these assholes elected. I can't imagine a republican seriously turning against them or throwing shade of any kind. It just doesn't make sense. And I'm surprised if there are really any born-again grown ups in the house GQP caucus. I'm sure as hell hoping it is true!!!
