Say, I appreciate your position, we are looking at ways to make this happen, I support it generally, but not prepared to go into detail right now. Ask her a little about herself. Be a fucking human.
You can do all of that and not commit to anything.
This is the part I don't get, her continuing refusal to take any part of her job seriously except the power part.

Funny thing is... most of these people wouldn't be interested in the discussion of they had to turn their phone off.
that's their job.
If you can't give a simple hey how are you, can't talk about it but I generally do support the policy and want to find an answer, then WTF are you doing?
To literally just ignore is not defensible.
