Was watching a movie about John Dillinger and, like many criminals of the '30s, he was

idealized by the general public. I've wondered for years why that was, now I know.

They robbed banks.

The banks that robbed everybody else and brought on the Great Depression then and the Great Recession now.

It makes perfect sense.

Historically Americans tend to despise bad law.

We had forgotten that for at least 30 years since 1980. Thankfully it is making a comeback.
