There are a lot of billionaires out there. Which would make a good owner?
It could make a huge difference on the discourse in this country.
First order of business: Get rid of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. And work down from there. They are enemies of the truth and democracy.

(7,611 posts)Different values. The business model may not be viable for too much longer: charging cable companies enormous fees for the right to carry it. Cable is in the process of dying off.

Soviet State was led by elites and when it crashed they privatized it to oligarchs.
We are consolidating power into elites who are buying up the politicians. We too will be owned by oligarchs.
So I'd say Murdo's got it all going according to plan.

(4,715 posts)Not working with us again and using schirmer's statement as a crutch. I still come back to you how is anything ever going to get better with Fox News around and I just don't see it happening as long as they're there I think this country is screwed
