Virginia Governors race. Democrat "McAuliff's biggest problem is - Democrats!!"

Said University of Virginia's political expert, Sabato.

"Democrats have got to get their act together and pass legislation."

[paraphrasing now], Legislation is needed for Democratic November candidates. Stop arguing among themselves. - This on CNN's Erin Burnett program tonight.

[Winning elections to put Democrats in governing positions, seems to be a secondary consideration for aggressive Dem factions]

That’s not surprising. The northern Virginia suburbs are a power base in recent elections and they’re actively engaged with what goes on across the river.

A bit late to solve that problem now. Early voting is already under way and Congress isn’t in session

For now, Dem news is dominated by this faction righteously demanding 'this legislation', and another righteous faction 'that legislation'.

Northern Virginia is blue and often informed, but not as much as is sometimes assumed.

Because of big issues. But my other kids and in-laws are voting for McAuliffe because of Covid. That’s all they still care about and they care about it enough to vote on an off year election.

They both keep meeting with McConnell. Why?

They're planning their future, profitable Senatorial lives in the minority that they will bring about.

However, what Democrats can actually do, is be willing to help Biden and McAuliff , and beat trumper expectations of Dems, . . . is . . . [quietly, ssssh], . . . compromise . . .

. . . [their individual ambitions, and intraparty driven righteousness. The FDR 1935 big wins, lesson mentioned above].
