Last year, the big second wave started around the middle of november. The situation is already bad but the worst may still come in the winter months.

assholes. I work Nova health and it gets me with these callers wanting their provider to exempt them having to get the vacc for work. Funny with the masks cause all the providers said they would not write a note, a specialist, or THEIR specialist would have to sign them out writing a note. That was fun.

Should all be fired for gross incompetence and denied permission ever to work for the public again.

I know that’s a pipe dream in this world but there must be consequences to stupidity which don’t involve putting the rest of us at more risk.

Every one of those flare ups was predictable and preventable.

Halloween, Thanksgiving and xmas will cause new flare ups unless the health authorities mandate masks everywhere.

8. I live in Michigan and tested positive for Covid right around 4/1/21

Just before Michigan turned blood red. I called my parents and told them I would not be visiting Easter weekend because I wasn't feeling well and had been tested. I think Easter was a big factor in the spread and also the warm weather around that time, plus the false sense of security with the vaccines being rolled out.

I can't blame idiots 100%, it was just a terrible combination of factors. I should have stayed home, I could have been more diligent about masking. I am not sure where I picked up the virus. I had my first dose of Moderna just 10 days before. Luckily my case was mild and I was able to get my 2nd dose on time.
