Remember the TV series "Get Smart"?

The character Maxwell Smart had a running gag where he'd say something like "You may think you have us but would you believe the entire U. S. Marine Corps has this place surrounded?"

The bad guy would say no, then Max would say "Would you believe a couple security guards?"

The bad guy would say no again and then Max would say "A boy scout?"

Google News and Business Insider just did the same thing. The Google News page said "GOP leaders are urging Republican voters to back Democrats in 2022". Great news! I definitely wanted to read more.

I clicked the link to the Business Insider page and saw that the headline is actually "Some GOP officials are urging Republican voters to back Democrats in 2022 to save the party from 'pro-Trump extremists".

Then I scrolled down to the article and saw "Two Republicans are urging voters..."

They're Trump official turned critic Miles Taylor and former Gov. Christine Todd Whitman. As far as I can tell, neither is a GOP leader.

I had that car - a Sunbeam Alpine with a Ford V-8 in it. They were working with the idea that had originally worked for Carroll Shelby and his Ford V-8 Cobra.
You'd be 'quite comfortable' (meaning $$$$$!) had you bought any of those and kept them.
