We don't know the reasons for the 5-days delay tbh but there must be some we're not privy to.

Five days won't change anything, and the House must be convened to vote on it.

It's really bad if they cannot vote against Bannon, for fear of making their Leader angry. They would like to make it look like a partisan vote, I suppose, so most will vote against it.

I can't wait until they take a vote against Kevin McCarthy for contempt of Congress.
