In today's world, all the evil and violence, I am choosing to

Have hope.
Yes, hope may be heavy.
But a world without it is unbearable.
Hope for this country, our President, his congress and agenda for the rights and benefit of the American people and the basic decency and kindness of human beings to rise up again.

and I have to go out and find the good that's all around me. All the fear about future events that are not real can make me sick. Over nothing.

"The Audacity of Hope".... it's a powerful thing.

Reminds me of when my kids were in elementary school and the Presidential election of 2008 was winding down to election day. Our household was very much on Team Obama, so each day on the way to school we'd chant these four words:

PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

And the rest is history.

But I'm trying to remember the good people out number the bad, the bad just get amplified on social a lot more than the good. You would think every middle aged white person freaks out about having to wear a mask on a plane.

Peace

I don’t mind it until it’s every other word

It reminds me of the coarse trumpers yelling at service people. Captive audience that have to listen to it.

When I mention it tho I get pushback using the exact words. Even got a spelling lesson the other day.

Glove, soft as an easy chair
Glove, fresh as the morning air
One glove that is shared by two
I have worn with you
Like a rose under the April snow
I was always certain glove would grow
Glove ageless and evergreen
Seldom seen by two
You and I will make each night a first
Every day a beginning
Spirits rise and their dance is unrehearsed
They warm and excite us
'Cause we have the tightest glove
Two lights that shine as one
Morning glory and midnight sun
Time we've learned to sail above
Time won't change the meaning of one glove
Ageless and ever evergreen
