Judge issues a restraining order against Fraternal Order of Police Pres John Catanzara

A judge tonight issued a restraining order against Frat Order of Police Pres John Catanzara to prohibit him from posting on social media or making any statements telling officers to refuse to get the vaccine. Chicago also filed a lawsuit against him for endangering public safety.

He’s telling his Union members they don’t have to get a COVID vaccination. That me be a stupid opinion which puts his members at risk of losing their jobs, but I don’t see the legal violation.

Judge Horan ruled that the city had shown that Catanzara’s comments on YouTube, Fox News and on Twitter likely threatened public safety.
