He was at higher risk for Covid complications because he had blood cancer. Yes, he had a breakthrough infection. However, he might have still been okay if he did not have a cancer that weakened his immune system. I see that the media is gradually adding that to the headlines. They should have said that immediately before anti vaxxers take it and run.

(1,379 posts)And ever since the announcement came the reporting has been based solely on the announcement that the family put out.
That announcement mentioned that he was fully vaccinated, but didnt mention the cancer. So to be fair to the media, they were reporting breaking news, with the information that they had.
Within the next hour, they were adding the news that he was suffering from cancer. So blame the family, not the media.

None of the reports Ive seen indicate that he had been hospitalized. Correct me if Im wrong, please. Perhaps thats been reported and I just havent seen it.
