Interesting that teaching abolition of slavery belongs to white history, but slavery doesn't. Seems a bit ass-backwards to me.

should be required to take at least one semester of Black, Womens, Native Americans and Mexican Americans history. Throughout high school and in the first two years of college. Required!

I'm older, 75, sometimes it takes longer for my brain to really grok something. But up front I know that it is something important to take in and understand. This is one of those times. So simple and yet so deeply true and important to realize the difference.
