Or are they so lacking in courage that they would destroy this democracy and break their oath to defend this nation, against all enemies, foreign and domestic, just to maintain power?

Or are they afraid that Herr Leader will sic his pack of crazies, also known as the base, on them?

Surely, there are Republicans out there somewhere willing to primary these cowards?

If you look over that Forbes 400 list of richest Americans you will find the people responsible, including corporations such as ATT, Capillarity, John Deer, the entire fossil fuel industry, banking, etc.
Steve Bannon gets the news coverage. I don't see much in the news about ATT and OANN.

Or they might be worried that he is unpredictable and would throw them and/or Trump under the bus with his testimony. Or they are just trying to suppress his testimony just because. It could literally be a combination of things but, whatever the reason, it likely means that whatever he has to say would be bad for them.
