There were five attendees without masks last night at

a seminar to teach NJ poll workers how to operate the new machines.

And it was a crowded room to boot. Shoulder to shoulder in rows.

The notice said to wear a mask. But the five didn't and nobody told them to get a mask or brought a box for them.

I stayed back and now have to return this morning for another seminar because I missed 90% of last night's program.

(I work as a teacher and as a cashier and can't afford a Covid infection, esp as I'm getting my booster on Monday.)

and inconsiderate nature of some people is just mind boggling. They didn’t see everyone else wearing them?

... county and state governments particularly, and maybe the Feds, too for not writing the laws and authorizing a legal enforcement.

This is the health crisis: it requires a mandate with no significant outs.

I went out for the first time in months a few weeks ago.

The place I went to seemed ok at first. After I was inside only 50% of the people there had on a mask and people were smoking as well.

Too late!

I woke up with a sore throat a few days after that but luckily it was just that, a sore throat.

These damned people really piss me off!

They are selfish, rude, etc. etc. etc.!!!

I hope you are ok!

Take care,

It was an Indian casino not far from where I live. I had not been there in over three years.

When I figured it out, I was shocked.

I guess the State laws do not apply on Federal land which is what Indian casinos are.

They are not required to do a thing it seems.

Sally forth!

Maybe an extra is wearing a mask but none of the principal characters in any of this season’s new shows has worn one.

Mandates and meaningful fines, now!

1500/day dying almost a year after a free vaccine became available. Impossible to fathom that level of ridiculous.

We need to rid this country of voting machines and the hackers that come with them in the shadows.
Only when we're 100% paper ballots will all election fraud claims stop. And that's the very reason
why reQublicOns demand using machines and no mail-in ballots.

If the a-holes aren't wearing a mask to training, you can be sure they won't wear one on election day.

Those 5 are demonstrating an obvious bias that should DQ them from being able to fill positions as poll workers.

I had poll training a few weeks ago. Sat in the back, no one within at least 6ft of me..I recall same thing there, a few with no mask. I'm getting nervous about working on election day. Last time I did, 2 years ago, I wore mask and face shield. It's a long day 5:30am to 9pm. My wife is just getting over RSV, I just got over a cold.

We've only been in a few situations where we offered them with a polite "Excuse me, I see you seem to have forgotten your mask, we have an extra one we would gladly give you" as we hold out the mask for them to take.

So far we've been met with responses along the lines of "I usually wear one but I forgot it, thank you" & they took the mask & put it on. We haven't encountered any confrontational maskholes, yet. I'm sure we've been lucky in that regard, & depending on where you live, your results may vary.
