Fauci had essentially nothing to do with preliminary safety testing of any vaccines.

Edit: I checked it out on the internet, lots of articles The Hill, Newsweek, National Review etc. These kind of things go thru so many channels it's hard to tell who ultimately has all the say in giving final approval.
