I saw NEBRASKA and saw red. I lived there for 30 years and moved due to a job transfer. Never went back other than for funerals of family members. I lived in a town south of Omaha called LaVista. We bought our home for $45,000. Our property taxes back then (late 1970s) were $2,500. We now live in Bowie Maryland and our taxes on a $450,000 home are $5,200.

I'm just glad I am away from there.
