The ringers are always off. So I hear nothing untilI turn the answering machine on. Then I only answer if they identify themselves to the machine. Easy peasy

that list name and address along with age. That's how I get all of these hearing aid letters, being over 70. I think they can purchase them somewhere.

I like the calls. Because they called you, you can say about anything you want to them and not get into trouble. Just don't threaten them with violence. I like to ask just one question first, what color underwear do you on. If I don't know who the caller is from my caller ID, I sometimes just answer the phone "Detective Cracker, what'd have for me".

It's one of my retirement hobbies.
