Republican backers ghostwrote a bill that would punish homosexuality with death in Ghana

The trail behind Ghana’s "death to gays" bill leads back to American evangelical groups that have been shoveling cash to Republican politicians while writing draconian bills for African countries.

The new law against LGBTQ people would also put people at risk for prosecution for associating with LGBTQ people, which led one Ghanaian publication to say it “compels Ghanaians to police gender and sexuality in their homes, workplaces, and everyday lives.”

There are other groups that are fervent about passing this bill as well, many of which are evangelical groups in the United States.

A CNN report exposed that one of the groups behind Ghana’s LGBTQ death penalty bill was a group known as the World Congress of Families (WCF), a group formed from an alliance of conservative organizations from the United States and Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union. The WCF is deemed a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Deep in their hearts, they know if they're a sucker for a religious sales pitch, they can just as easily be seduced by a gay guy that looks like Ryan Reynolds or Michael B. Jordan.

And that's the worst of it; they'll no longer be a "real man" because all the gay men should desire them and want to seduce them.

Doesn't really matter about the gay man living his own life, it's about the risk to them. So kill them before the gay man can seduce them.

As for Lesbians,. they're just women who would refuse their masculinity. Which is insulting and wrong in their eyes. So kill them too.

Toxic masculinity requires the man "kill" everything that is vaguely a threat.

But I don’t think gay guys are particularly interested in seducing straights. As far as lesbians the Bible says a man shouldn’t lay with a man as a woman. As far as I know it says nothing about women laying with women.

Authoritarians worship Masculinity. The idea of being kind, or gentle, or even just different is the difference between the "respect" they think they are entitled to, or being the victim of political rivals who could replace them.

Like rape, homophobia is not about sexual identity. It's about power dynamics, about creating a public scapegoat to mask moral weaknesses in leadership within a toxic political class.

10. These hate groups have been doing this for some decades, but of course

they're emboldened and their evil gaining some strength in this era. They're still so extreme they appall and repel most American conservatives, though, which help explain why they're so active where imprisonment and execution are possible.

Not to protect other races from decline into "demographic winter," of course.
