Once we close the deal on the reconciliation bill

and I have no doubt we will get there, I think the attention will shift on the voting rights bill. If President Biden can achieve that, his first terrm will be a resounding success. Very few presidents have passed so many consequential bills in their first term.

Hopefully he's a little humbled by his utter failure to drum up even one republican vote for the bill he put together.

(Honestly, I'm frankly surprised that mcconell didn't authorize 6-7 republican senators to vote for it, just to keep the con going a bit longer...)

I agree, I'm surprised Moscow Mitch didn't drag the con out longer, but Manchin will find some other excuse.

Some states haven't finalized their redistricting plans. Texas on the other hand is all but fucked for another decade
