We have no data to support that Trump's followers operate in a rational, ethical, common sense way.
They have forgiven all of his crimes, over and over.

I think it is quite possible that even if he was convicted of high treason, and thrown into prison, his followers would

It's appalling that half the country now is entirely divorced from fact-based reality.

Just the act of supporting the belligerently ignorant former guy, who'd never even read the US Constitution, after screeching that Constitutional scholar Barack Obama needed to do so (because he tried to make healthcare accessible & affordable) makes their claims of being "patriots" ludicrous.
