(17,354 posts)at $50 trillion. That's worldwide, so every nation would have to contribute. If that's an accurate figure (or even close to it), would $300 billion from the U.S. be a proportionate share? Seems light.

(13,431 posts)There have been numerous reports of turnout among young voters seriously lagging in next week's VA election. Granted, climate change may not trickle down to state elections yet; but it still suggests it is not that big of a motivator in getting people to the polls compared to abortion and guns for those on the right.
