Sen. Krysten Sinema’s Build Back Better Obstruction Backfires And Enrages Arizona

https://www.politicususa.com/2021/10/27/sen-krysten-sinemas-build-back-better-obstruction-backfires-and-enrages-arizona.html

"SNIP.....

Sen. Krysten Sinema (D-AZ) has obstructed the passage of the Biden Build Back Better agenda and isn’t talking to her constituents who want her to just vote for the bill.

......

MSNBC reported, “I think the point you made about the way that she’s going about this, we just saw Senator Manchin talking to the media there. That is not something that Senator Sinema is doing. She’s not doing interviews or holding town halls or talking to constituents.  Constituents have told me that they are not able to have a meeting with her, and they’re upset about that, and you’re hearing that really across the political spectrum.”

......

One of Sinema’s constituents said, “Our families are struggling, affording their bills and electricity, but at the same time, they’re going through a rough period of time, when they don’t have a/c, through the high polluted days and high extreme days. So we — that’s why we need her support. So my message to our senator will be to, to support us and vote on the Build Back Better plan, because it will help our low-income communities and communities of color.”

...and forcefully brought forth to face her constituents in person at a town hall or whatever venue they prefer. On camera preferably and carried by the major news channels. This could be a new reality for Congress Critters.
Time to face the People--your constituents, whose votes gave you the office you swore to serve.

a weekly one hour that profiles 1 congressional asshole who either won't deal with constituents or who enrage constituents by their bullshit and terrible decisions

asshole, camera crew, moderator (not chuck todd!), and constituents can be live at a "town hall." if asshole is a no-show the show still gets aired

so she has no incentive to listen to her constituents, if you want to call them that. I don't think these attempts at shaming her are doing any good. If anything, I get the impression they're making her dig deeper into her contrary position.

I mean she could just stop being a total contrarian if she wanted to. Any time. And the voters would probably eventually forgive and forget if something good gets passes. If she’s just building her golden parachute for when she has to face re-election we are probably SOL.

Her unfavorables in Arizona are at 65% in the last figures I saw. I don't see her coming back from that, at least not if she runs again and runs as a Democrat. I think that's why she isn't paying any attention to voters and doesn't seem to care what anyone else thinks. Maybe she's considering running as a Republican next time. However, I don't think she could win the nomination on that side, either. Judging by her behavior, it just makes sense to me that she isn't interested in continuing a career in politics.

Not particularly ugly in her outward appearance, but her mannerisms and her countenance. And disregard for anyone other than herself.

She really is not someone that I could see making it in that industry. Men can pull that bad clothing and attitude off, but so far, I have yet to see a woman who works hard at being unpresentable get into that space.

As an Independent candidate. Hard to do if you're wildly unpopular among Democrats and a good Democratic candidate is running against you.

by siphoning off some Democratic and Independent votes from the Democratic nominee.

She knows this, and she knows she has no chance of winning the Democratic nomination in 2024.

If she ran as an Independent, her treasonous sabotage of the Democratic party, democracy, and the United States would be a success. I wonder who will reward her, and what the reward for her betrayal will be, if she runs as as an Independent.

Does she have a secret crush on Trump, or some other bizarre reason for betraying the country?

You have to have friendly relations with the legislators and staff you worked with. She’s known as a back stabbing flake. Dems and republicans will shun her. So she must be making side deals with big pharma for cash or future fake employment
