Do you think any of our billionaires would consider giving $500m towards reducing rents?

As in giving an organization money like the private equity companies get to buy apartments and houses in portfolios then reduce the rents for everyone?

The opposite of these vultures:

None of these funds will reduce already un-affordable rents in most markets. The Bezos one just allows anyone to participate in driving up rents. So cool.

So do you think any of them would agree to try to LOWER rents nationwide? Like money to buy properties then cut the rents? If they didn't try to always get 13% return and just do for a write off and equity then maybe? Only around 20% of all rentals are owned by businesses but that percentage is growing FAST.

$50,000,000 won't make a dent.

To buy property not rental support like HCV.

Get two and we have a billion and that could buy quite a bit but still is play dollars when 5 venture groups each have over a billion apiece...
