The parking lot is nearly empty & the cop still hit a stationary object!
Did he shoplift from Tiffany's or something? What could he have taken that required that response?

Property even if its something petty is more important than an average persons property like thier car.

They are not rich or corporate so a mere citizens car doesn't matter. They got to go rescue the stolen property of that poor corporation that awful criminal took. Because corporations made by rich people are people too. So much more important than me or you..
