The part you didn't know?
@KingJames is also going to send thousands of kids to college tuition-free, changing lives & transforming his hometown.
Here's the incredible story 👇
There's a whole thread about what he is doing & how amazing it is.

(16,855 posts)He knows he would never be able to spend all of that and have a normal life. It's obscene for anyone to spend a billion dollars on himself!

He very easily could have been ruined, he was poor as a child, but he stayed true.

(1,402 posts)I have had fun watching LeBron play over the year - there is no one better. I am so proud of him and a bonus........he is a humanitarian, too. Wish other super rich people would follow his example. Thank you, LeBron for the years of exciting times you have given me. You are the greatest.

(81,458 posts)When the super rich actually help those who arent.
Im NOT interested, OR impressed, with richies who fund think tanks and political institutions - usually on the wrong side of the aisle.

(6,207 posts)Where are the other billionaires? Out playing with their riches and trying to outdo NASA. And give other millionaires and billionaires amusement rides. Only a few Americans can afford the price of admission.
"One small step for man, one giant leap for" the ultra-ultra-rich.
For an estimated ride lasting less than 20 minutes, they can look down from space at the needed poor and middle class who can only dream of a better life.
Fulfilling dreams of thousand of needy kids and, by extension, the families. Well done, sir, well done!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about space exploration (if not space commercialization), but we need WAY more of what LeBron is doing!
