(4,407 posts)Getting all legislators claiming Democratic Party affiliation united to actually pass the bundle as requested by Joe, well...SMH...seems GOP/GQP have succeeded in the semi-long game, and won't fund much of anything useful to who they determined were or would become their unproductive useless eaters since Reagan deregulation, the proliferation of stolen software, starting with Windows and PROMIS, partisan media, and home computers with which to tinker and apps the better to spread misinformation in the next decade. In the New Century, we were then really slow picking up on the fact that we were still fighting the Civil War with the same issues and new ones, and so it goes...with racists, fascists, fundamentalists, non-civil insurrectionists blabbing about guns, freedumbs, misogynists and every "identity/orientations in between, and most importantly, imperatively, really, the ways in which to better provide to ALL Americans the right to vote and be represented fairly, conveniently and efficiently.
Going high when they go low...SMH. Define "deplorables"?; I'd call them Republicans. Are we scared we'd be held to the same standards...yes, then don't do the crimes of hate and powerful "ownership." Then investigate and bring down the hammer!
Seniors' time is short and we do have limitations: health, brain disease, vision, hearing, and dental problems, the cost of which burdens our busy children with the stress of raising kids and caring for us That stress kills as well...so we need a universal plan to address our health and protecting democracy. Let's not burden even our grandchildren--they'll be dealing with the changed climate full force and that's a duzy of a concern...

(70,683 posts)... inauguration and this Sept. used the EPA's clean water act to extend the protections for at least
his term in the White House. A huge % of the wild caught and wild run salmon come down stream
from this area, the Copper River.
