Prominent San Antonio lawyer Thomas J. Henry anticipates Astroworld damages in billions

San Antonio-based attorney Thomas J. Henry is now representing 68 victims in a massive lawsuit against Travis Scott, Drake, Live Nation, and NRG stadium, after Scott's fatal Astroworld festival in Houston where eight people died and scores more were injured.

The Texas firm anticipates that number to increase, as more victims come forward with their stories.

"More and more injured victims are contacting my firm by the hour," says Thomas J. Henry in a press statement.

Henry believes potential damages for injuries and deaths could be astronomical.

"While we are all still working to understand the full scope of the Astroworld tragedy, I believe the damages suffered by its victims could total in the billions," Henrys says in the release.

This was a colossal fuck up and I'm betting we won't hear the end of damage suits for a long time coming. But everyone involved needs to be held accountable for this.

There will never be a live music venue again, if this occurs, For one thing, while this is tragic, people have to take responsibility for their own well being. If I got caught up in uncontrolled crowd compression, I'd have extricated myself from that mob moment ASAP.

"we're gonna play a game here. It's called "step back". Ok, take a step back, now take another step back....." Bob Weir played this game a lot at the shows I went to,,,

I am simply stating that a multi-billion settlement will mean-

(1) No payout approaching this number.
(2) if such a settlement happened, the insurance industry that covers these types of gatherings will raise the prices so high, that the costs will be prohibitive in large scale human venues.

Live Nation has been hawking poorly produced shit for years while producing a near monopoly on the concert industry and now they're paying the price for it. Add to that Travis Scott has a history of inciting violence at his shows and this was pretty much a perfect storm of disaster.

Thomas J Henry has at least three commercials during that one hour. I’m sure he’s licking his chops. He shows off his hill country home and his private jet in his commercials.

Nobody that can be reasonably sued has anything close to that. Every insurance company has a limitation in their coverage for these type of events. For this it might be 10 million at the most.

I especially love the one where he is entering his private jet. I'm sure he is excited to be able to represent more clients. I just hope they see some of the money!
